I bought this on the strength of the ad's assurance that it was compatible with Windows 7, but apparently it's not. I plugged it in (after shutting off my computer), but on firing up again the cursor wouldn't move. I tried several versions of this procedure. Has anyone had success with this mouse and Windows 7?

I have 4 Adesso iMouse devices.  I have many Windows 7 Pro computers.  They all work in all permutations.  On USB 2 ports.

I've noticed 1 dependency:  The first time you boot a Windows machine with the Adesso iMouse, it has no driver installed and therefore does not work.  You must log into Windows with a different mouse and keyboard and wait for driver installation.

I've noticed USB 3 does not seem to register the mouse at all.  But that maybe because I'm too lazy to get USB 3 working on my motherboards.

Additionally, the mouse works fine with Ubuntu 12, Ubuntu 14, and Windows 7 Pro.
