It has both, VGA and DVI ports on the video card.

I didn't see it in the specs - is this system wifi ready?

Yes it is. All I had to do was input my wifi password.

is the included keyboard backlit?

No it's not, But the keyboard is very good and responsive.

so ive been researching this and they never made an alienware x51 r2 computer with gtx 745 4gb and an intel i5. the i5 model has gtx 750 ti 2gb. Whoever answers this, can you make sure these specs it advertises are right?

Is the RAM expandable...or is 8GB all that the board will support?

From the reaserch I did prior to buying this PC, This unit was designed for expanding. It was also designed to user friendly. Meaning, your average user can do most of the modifications themselves. Increasing the RAM should be pretty easy. My advice would be to invest in quality components.
