Xigmatek Elysium Black CCC-HSA0DS-U01 All Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Super Tower Computer Case

Pros: >Size - provides great ideas for positioning your fans to customize that much needed air flow. If you want it to go over the CPU/RAM and the up, go for it. If you want to ALSO make it go over the dual GPUs, and then out the back, go for it. For kicks, you probably could fit a small dog inside the case, and still close it. Maybe three chiuahauas. It is a very sturdy, solid construction, so they cannot get out. >Cooling: It can take so many fans. There are two chips on the sides of the case. These chips are LOADED with 3/4 pin connectors. Even if you had a super custom welded fan holder, and you somehow mounted it inside the case, you would have no problem finding a chassis fan connection. >Radiator Cooling: Although I do not have any, it can take top mounted radiators. and it has all the grommets in the back to liquid cool the machine. >Cable Management: I am very primitive when it comes routing cables. But with the Elysium, it made even my machine seem clean. >Huge MB capacity. If you have a MB, it will more than likely take it. >POWER REDUNDANCY: This case gives you the ability to house a bottom PSU AND a top PSU. My rig now pulls 1600 Watts!!! >It has plenty of front ports and even comes with a toaster for both SSD & HDD drives. >HDD drive bays have these rubber bushings that go around the screws that are used to attach HDD. These are genius for vibration dampening, as my sub-woofer is under my desk. >How many drive bays do you need? I didn't use them all, will you? >Cleaning: both sides pull off, and there are removable screens...making blowing it out an easy peasy lemon squezzy deal.

Cons: The front case cover is incredibly hard to pry off. Changing HDDs will be hard; the holders are BURIED. So, just make sure you just buy quality products that won't die in a month or two and you will be fine. The side panels are hard to get back on, only because the case is so dang huge!

Overall Review: I would recommend this case to those with RAID Arrays, big MB buyers, liquid and radiator wise consumers, and for those who are worried about thermal control and need lots of fans and cable routes. The Toaster WILL come in handy if you have a drive that you want to scan for some buddies, as it is Plug and Play. If you choose the dual PSUs like myself, make sure you get the main power splitter!!!

Pros: HUGE case with room for most anything you would want to mount. My R320 Rad, pump and reservoir fit with ease. Cable managment is no concern and if your into fans it's a dream come true.

Cons: Unless I'm missing something I HATE the HDD drive bay cages! If you want to change, add or remove a HDD you must remove the whole cage...more in comments.

Overall Review: I bought this case at a local outlet because the tax was less than the shipping, nothing against Newegg. My case had no dings or other defects that I have found to date. I moved to this beast from my HAF-932 due to room issues and a decission to move to full water cooling from my H50 unit and other than the drive bays I have no regretes yet. The drive bays...if your working on 1 drive or 4 you must remove the whole bay of 4 which means removing both side panels and the front cover, than disconnecting all 4 drives and sliding the cage out. Now if your not using water cooling you might be able to skip removing the front panel and slide the cage back into the case IF you have room. My fix was to load it up and forget it, 1-SSD, 6-1TB HDD's and 1-2TB HDD. If you don't like to play with RAID or other operating systems this won't be a problem and maybe my HAF-932 spoiled me but I still think it is worth 1 egg off. Final word is that I do love this case, drive bays or not.

Pros: HUGE, enough room for anything.

Cons: the Xigmatek packaging sucks, The back foot was broken off bent and the front panel had a dent in it. The front panel was fixable but the foot was broken off and unfixable... Atleast it comes with wheels.

Pros: The case is large, a little larger than an old Lian-Li v2100. There will not be any trouble fitting any video cards. It has tons of room so that you could probably fit two 360 radiators and maybe another small radiator if you wanted. There is a whole lot of room behind the motherboard which will tremendously help to hide cables. There is two included fan power addon modules that can be moved to a few different spots in the case. You could possibly buy more of these modules and mount them if you really needed them, though there is six 3-pin connections on each module, so you shouldn't need anymore. Top has two USB3 and two USB2 connectors for a total of 4 USB connections, an eSata, and a 2.5"/3.5" hot swappable HD bay on top. The Corsair H80 installed nicely to the roof of this case and allowed plenty of room for a push-pull setup. There's tons of screw holes to mount extra fans as well. The case doesn't look too bad either.

Cons: The case is not the greatest build quality in the world in comparison to an expensive Lian-Li case. The first one I received came damaged. The second one also suffered from some light damage, but I was able to make one good case out of the two. The included Xigmatek fans are very poor. I bought some of Xigmatek's other fans to replace the ones in this case along with a Megaflow for the side fan. The top, left, front of the case where the power button is located is very easy to damage it seems, as both of my cases came with the small metal piece in front of the power button coming off the base of the case a bit - they should have made that piece a little wider to prevent that from happening. Little glue will fix it. The wheels are too close to the "legs" of the case and when turning they stop moving because they run into them. Perhaps you can remove those legs, I'm not sure, but it would not be easy. USB3 cables have to go out the back of the case to plug in, or buy a mobo

Overall Review: All in all, a good case. There is some really great features of this case including superb cable management and very spacious room for some exotic water cooling. There is other hard drive cages you can purchase if you really need more hard drive mounts than this case includes. There is a small area in the top of the case to run the USB3 cables and keep them out of sight I found, but it's not specifically for that purpose I bet. The wheels should have been moved a half an inch to prevent them from contacting the legs of the case. The fans are very puny, and Xigmatek should be slapped for putting them in this case, when they have better options like the XLF to choose from. The addon modules could possibly be damaged when installing optical drives and hard drives if you don't pay attention. It's best to remove them before building. Hard drives aren't easy to install. There's a club for these cases. Solid build, a few cons, but ton of features. I am satisfied.

Pros: This case is enormous, you can purchase this case in confidence knowing you'll have no problem fitting anything of your hopes and dreams in here. With the 10 PCI expansion slots, and 12 x 5.25" bays in the front, you'll be able to expand this beast in anyway you want. This case absolutely DWARFS a regular ATX board, just to give you an idea. The grommet holes are perfect for all cable management with ample grommets located all over the case. The case comes with 4 stock fans, 2 x 120mm, 1 x 140mm and 1 x 200mm (on the side) and they alone keep it pretty cool. The removable top dust cover is great for easy cleaning, the front panel removes with ease with the pressure fitted plastic plug design to quickly access the front of your computer. 2 spots for power supplies if you have preference of either top or botttom, so many pros with this case it's hard to think of any cons.

Cons: I came across some very, small, tiny cons that I won't drop any eggs for because the pros outweigh the cons in so many ways. First, the PCI slots could have use a little spacing between the power supply at the bottom, just half an inch would have been great, this way if I am using the bottom slot wires don't have to rest on top of the PSU, just a little safety issue. Second, the side panel design is, just a pain sometimes if you have a maze of cables running in the back, the design could be tweaked a bit so the sides go on easier because you have to align them JUST right to make it go back on, I spent probably 10 minutes just learning how to perfectly place each side to get them to go on. This last one is sort of nit picking but, the power button seems gimmicky, it clicks when you press it and just gives off that cheap brand computer to me. Something more aggressive to compensate for this beast of a case. Like I said, nothing to take any eggs off for, just some tweaking.

Overall Review: Chances are, you won't need to upgrade your case ever again, and for only 50 or 60 dollars more than what you'd pay for a regular case, this case get's it done no matter how you want to do it. If this thing goes on sale, and you're trying to find a tower, you won't regret this buy for a minute.

Pros: Big with lots of slow moving quiet fans. Can stuff in a ton of Hard drives. Good cord management. Good Build Quality. Value for the price.

Cons: Big, Need lots space for this thing. Not of Fan of the LEDs on the fans but it is a current trend. (Son loves them) Hard drive cages are difficult to remove and add drives to.

Overall Review: I knew I had space for this under my desk but it is very large and will not fit just anywhere.

Pros: Vary large insides, Sleek and vary easy to work with. Back panel has all the tie holes and everything you would need for a good solid build.

Cons: The side panel fan is just a bit to big for my ZALMAN CNPS20LQ which is fine. A quick change on where the radiator is and all it well. A bit heavier then I thought it would be but not something to lose a egg over.

Overall Review: Vary nice case. Would recommend this case for any computer build.

Pros: Great case for size and room for just about anything you want to throw in it. I like the fact that it has room to place RADS in the top and the bottom of case for the more advanced liquid cooling this case will be holding.

Cons: The box this case came in is of cheap grade cardboard, if it was to get wet it would probably fall apart. Received case 4/30/12 on a visual inspection things seem ok, no visible dents or scratches. When I pulled the case from the cheap cardboard box I noticed cheap flimsy plastic pieces fell from box then took the foam padding off notice that the back leg on the case was broken for the price of this case you think they could have designed the legs of this case of a better quality material like say aluminum. I did further review of case and found on the side window panel there is 2 deep marks on the inside of window that looked like the parts box corners was rubbing on it, which is only held on by a cheap wire-tie. Really hate to RMA the whole case for a couple imperfections. Sent email, phoned Xigmatek and left message to only get no reply. The bottom leg I can live with as I am able to put the wheels on the case. All I want is a new window for the side panel.

Overall Review: TO Xigmatek Improve your customer service and your packaging. How are we supposed to get warrenty service from xigmatek when they don't reply to people who buy their products. In my rating I give NewEgg 5 eggs for their service and support. And until Xigmatek improves on a few things I give them 2 eggs.
