The name 'Alpaca' came from my love for these cute, gentle creatures. Like many of you, I'm fueled by coffee. I'm a software engineer by trade, and Alpaca Coffee Grinders started as a side project, funded by my own savings. I wanted to create something tangible, but I stumbled through all the classic beginner mistakes – overstocking, wrong products, the works. It was a far cry from my world of coding, but I was determined to make it work.

Coffee is essential to me, I drink at least a pot a day - and so I landed on coffee grinders. For almost three years now, I've been pouring my heart into Alpaca. I personally read and respond to every customer support message. I designed every image, and I've meticulously vetted countless manufacturers to find the most reliable model. I realized that Alpaca isn't about chasing profits or becoming a millionaire.

It's about something much more personal: I want every coffee lover to have access to a reliable, high-quality grinder that makes their coffee taste better. When I get a message from a happy customer, it genuinely makes my day. And when I'm not working on Alpaca, I'm back in my world of software development.
