Pros: The parts themselves are good - performance matches expectations for this setup and the laptop stays relatively cool, especially with a cooling pad.
Cons: Terrible build quality. Pieces falling off, unhinging, after only 6 months of use. Onboard software often faulty (For example, the keyboard lighting software broke in an update and was not repaired for several months. Sound continues playing out of speakers after headphones are plugged in.) Because of the terrible build quality, pieces of the laptop have to be duck-taped down to prevent the bottom part of the case from popping off when the lid is opened / closed, which blocks part of the side fan. I worry every time I open my laptop a piece of it is going to fall off.
Overall Review: While I have had great luck using MSI graphics cards in desktop builds, I will never buy an MSI laptop again.
