1.Yes, you can hang it on a wall in portrait or landscape format as I have done. It's little tricky -four hanger holes on the back - but it certainly doable.

2. Yes the slide show mode is completely configable including showing 1,2,3 or 4 images at once.

Nope, needs to be plugged in. But it's a great deal on a really nice screen!

is 1366 x 768 resolution better than 1024 x 768 ?
