Contents in box include CPU chip, heatstink (with thermal paste already applied and ready to mount to CPU) as well as the cooling fan.

will this work in a asus m4n68t-m v2 board? the asus web site shows ADX455WFK32GM compatible which is slightly different then this one

Iit is the same processor. The only difference is that this is not just the processor. The BOX package includes the fan also :-)
Thats why it is GMBOX insteadof just GM

I'm trying to determine if this processor is compatible with a Compaq presario CQ5300Y desktop; I understand that AM3 socket type is backwards compatible with Am2+ and that I must be at or under 95W?

Hello!

Unfortunately, I know nothing about your motherboard... All I know is that in order to suport this processor, a motherboard must support AM3 socket. Or, at least, such a motherboard should be marked in the documentation as "AM3 ready". My motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3HP and it is marked as "AM3 ready". As a result, this processor works seamlessly on my computer.
As for the wattage of the processor, to my understanding this is solely a matter of your computer's power supply. The processor is shipped along with a compatible heatsink which is designed to cool the processor properly.
I recommend you to check with your motherboard vendor...

I a looking to replace my hard drive (1TB) with a SSD in my CyberTron PC. There is 8 GB f RAM and the graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 620. It has 4095 MB of total available graphics memory. It is a 64 bit operating system. The processor in the PC is a "AMD Athlon II X3 455". Can you tell me what SSD's can be used with this. Are any of them compatable or just certain ones? Does this motherboard support SATA I or SATA II or SATA III?

Yes there are many different SSD's you can use. What I recommend is to yoe a Kinston hyper X 120gb drive. I run these drives in RAID and stand alone. These drives need the least maintenance and perform very well. Don't get rid of your standard HDD. Move your operating system to the SSD and use your HDD for media and data storage. Is this processor compatible with Gigabyte GA-MA78LM-S2H board?  Just trying to squeeze a little more performance out of an older system.  Right now has athlon II x2 250 processor.

I used this processor on a GA MA785GM-USH, which is AM2+, AM3 (only-- NOT AM3+) and the processor worked flawlessly. No problems at all-- did not even need to upgrade the BIOS.

I had the older motherboard (new/unused, sitting in a box in the closet and I decided to use this processor in it-- while the AM3 processors are available. 
Build for "GRANDPA".
