Will this processor be compatible with MSI motherboards?

Thomas, As long as the MSI motherboard has an AM3+ socket interface and the rated wattage (125W) it will.. How does it compare to the AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo)?

I purchased the FX-8150 Zambezi a little while back for my new computer. I haven't had any problems with it so far and the processor has all but exceeded my expectations. It is super-fast and I definitely won't need to upgrade for a long time. The 8150 is a great CPU. 
If you're considering the FX-8320 or the FX-8350 Vishera... don't. Simply put. Why AMD chose to step down the L2 cache and share it per core, but then raise the core clock speed a mere 400 mHz and then call it an upgraded/newer CPU is beyond me. You will not see a difference with 400 mHz. Don't take the loss in shared L2 cache and purchase a more expensive processor. Get the 8150. It's a better chip.

Corsair Hydro H60 has been a champ for me.  It has kept mine at a steady 28-38C for a year now.  Overclocking to 5.3Ghz maxed mine out at 51C which is still within operational limits.

Which is a better buy? This, or the FX-6350?

To tell the truth it is a toss up the 6350 only has 6 mb of cache but its a few mghz faster however with this 8150 I am pretty satisfied, runs cool with the stock fan and everything is gravy plus has more cache. I can always overclock as well if I get a better fan.

The fx8150 will fit any AMD 990fx motherboard. I have mine paired with an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z and it works flawlessly.
Be sure to check the RAM compatibility chart through Asus, however, if going with the Crosshair V.
