This is a good question. I can't find the answer. I've never bought AMD ram. I went on AMD's website for this ram and it says, "Dual/Single Channel Kits" Then it showed the price and specs of single cards and dual cards. You might be better off with this newegg item number: N82E16820403004
This explicitly says that it's a dual channel kit.

I have two gskill ripjaws that are 2g each can i mix match ram have two gskill and this one?

As long as the memory sticks are compatible with your motherboard, yes, you can mix and match.  In a high-speed PC, you may find that the memory runs slower when you mix-and-match, but it should work.  If you are using 3-chips on motherboard with 4 memory slots, check with manual that came with the motherboard for possible configuration issues.   You can plug in the 3 chips and give it a go.  Just turn off the PC if it will not boot.  After it boots, check to see if the OS recognized the memory.

i am look at pairing this with a a6 5400k on a 
asrock FM2A88X-ITX+ to upgrade my old hp slimline s5000 series desktop will this work with that board and cpu?

I have an Asus F2A85-M Pro for which Asus has tested various RAM modules and "approved" their use with that mobo on their 'approved vendor list.'

This RAM was not on that approved vendor list but it has worked just fine with my Mobo/APU/RAM.

I chose it because pairing AMD RAM with an AMD APU seemed like they would be compatible.

That said, I anticipate this RAM will work with your APU.

A WARNING, THOUGH: I chose my A4-6300 based on my desire to use it with my HTPC. I'm not sure I would use it with a productivity PC as it may simply not have enough raw processing power to handle heavier tasks. If you want a APU to use on a productivity PC, you my want to consider a multiple-core APU, esp the FM2+ series.

You need ram that is specifically made for Macs. They have their own style. Its similar to laptop ram, but its not.

If you are asking if this will work in a laptop, the answer is no as these are 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM (Desktop version). You need to look for 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM.

Look on Newegg for "Computer Hardware > Memory > Laptop Memory" and then narrow your choices by checking 'Type' - 204-PIN DDR3 SO-DIMM and 'Speed' - DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
