Is there a way this unit can be mounted on a desk (drilled) permanently?

I'm sure there would be a way to (though you'd probably have to drill). The clamp that comes with it is pretty sufficient though.

What is the monitor weight capacity per mounting point? Can an older 13.5lb monitor safely be mounted?
