Nice Case, LCD was a after thought 12/28/2012 3:18:17 PM

Pros: Looks sleek, layout inside is nice. their setup allows their IR receiver built into of the side of the LCD lets me fully power down my htpc and power it back up. Also with that I can set a MCE remote as my remote and put theirs into my drawer

Cons: LCD is junk, doesn't add any interesting info unless you want to check your email from the front display. But is needed to bee plugged in if you want to power off then power on

Overall Review: If you have this case, and have their usb for the lcd plugged in via their usb to usb header connector. Then you might have noticed if you powered down your HTPC the display might turn back on after shut down. The only way I got around this was to stretch their usb cable through the back of my case and plug it into one of my mobo's back usb slots

Great case - a couple of things 1/10/2012 7:20:52 AM

Pros: Quiet and cool, great build quality, fits more drives than it says if you put SSD's (1 or 2) in space behind the LCD, looks nice

Cons: iMon software is still buggy for Windows users, though better than it used to be apparently, support for XBMC from iMon depends on another 3rd party plug-in available in the XBMC forums - Linux is supposed to be better, size- it's very deep for a piece of stereo equipment (which it is trying to look like)

Overall Review: There is space to mount a 5.25 drive behind the LCD but ventilation is poor in this area so they probably stopped reccomending you use it, even though it was clearly originally designed to accomodate another HD. Best solution is to combine a 5.25-3.5 bracket with a 3.5-2x2.5 drive bracket and stick up to two low heat SSD's in that spot. Save the fancy muffled hanging drive brackets for the 3.5 traditional HD's with actual moving parts (the drive muffling is pointless for SSD's anyway), coming to a total of 4, not 2 HD's, besides the optical under the LCD.

Perfect HTPC 1/9/2012 6:56:31 AM

Comments: Prior to building this HTPC I had built several for other friends and several since. Prior to this I had always used my gaming rig as my HTPC but after redoing my living room my other half decided that we needed something to blend in. When looking for a case to build my HTPC, I wanted something that looked nearly identical to my audio receiver so it would blend. This case provided that!

I've built approximately 20-25 HTPC for co-workers, friends and family. I've dealt with many different budgets and used many different cases. This was BY FAR the most pleasurable case I've worked with.

The only negative things I can say about this case is the LCD on the front is very hard to read unless you're at the precises angle needed to view it. The other is that there are only 2 hard drive expansion bays. Since this is a HTPC case and the the use for it is HTPC, I wish they would make it so that you can fit more HD's for mass storage.

Overall this case is A+ but I'd buy without the LCD

Nice HTPC Case 12/5/2011 11:45:21 AM

Comments: Overall it is a nice case. I think a better front display would turn it from a good HTPC case to a great case.

Quiet, solid, nice looking case 12/1/2011 3:25:07 PM

Pros: Adjustable fan speed provides good airflow while keeping noise to a minimum. Nice Anti-vibration HD mounts. Machined aluminum front panel looks nicer than average.

Cons: The display was more trouble than it as worth so I disconnected it. It would have been nice if I could have used that area for a second component but the display seems to be permanent. Power cables kind of get in the way of expansion cards but case form factor is mostly to blame.

Overall Review: I have been very pleased with this case and improved it by switching to a modular power supply which greatly reduced cable clutter.

Overall Great 11/30/2011 1:05:58 PM

Comments: Despite the minor issues with the case it is very attractive looking and looks nicer than my receiver. It really hides my HTPC.
