Why are they building junkey ones now? 7/22/2017 5:38:55 PM

Pros: 5 years in a work computer with no troubles. cant hear it. I can run 100% and it stays very cool. It has a thicker radiator then all the ones I see here now. And the pump is near the processor . Not using the one motor for 2 jobs. The new ones look like junk. I guess Ill try cosair

Cons: Out of stock Im building a new computer.

Worked for a while 1/2/2016 5:01:24 PM

Pros: Worked well out of the box. "Quiet" setting was truly whisper quiet. "Extreme" setting dropped temps by another ~5°C but was too loud to have on all the time.

Cons: Did not fit as expected in Antec Twelve Hundred case. Had to remove dual rear case fans and mount across both fan housing's area.

Cooling noticeably lessened (ran ~10°C warmer) after two years of ownership. Pump stopped working after three years and two months, just beyond mfr's 3 year warranty period.

Overall Review: Was nice when it worked but expected more longevity. Was in a rig that ran 24/7 at stock speeds.

Did not work as intended 2/9/2015 12:56:20 PM

Pros: cooled the PC "ok" but usb header doesnt work. so you cant control the fans so its super loud. i have been using it on my secondary pc for 3 years. pump will occasionally slow down. i might have a defective unit, but it still begs the question. why buy this over the corsair options? I contacted antec support about it and they basically said" its your fault it doesn't work." and left me hanging..

Cons: if you get a defective unit. you basically threw away your money,.

So bad 8/31/2014 12:01:17 PM

Pros: It turns on

Cons: No control over RPM - I never got the USB connection to work or recognize. I research so many websites for solutions and none worked. Really unhappy with this product.

Overall Review: Don't buy it, USB connection us 50/50 to work for most people judging by the problems I have found on google. Just search "Antec 920 issues" and you will see.

Excellent cooling 6/16/2014 9:37:43 AM

Pros: This cooler comes with software that tells you the temp of the coolant circulating through this device. According to that software the coolant has never gone over 44 C. Even after running at 96-100% CPU utilization for over 5 hours.

Cons: The original cooler I bought went bad after about 11 months. Antec was quick to approve an RMA and down time was less than a week.

Overall Review: Although my original cooler went bad after 11 months it worked great up to that point. Given that Antec was so quick in sending me a replacement after I sent mine to them I decided to not take an egg away. The replacement cooler has been working for sometime now and works every bit as well as the original.

Kuhler 920 failure 5/30/2014 3:03:02 PM

Pros: It worked very well for almost a year.

Cons: It failed, starting almost a year after I installed it. I found liquid around one of the fans, indicating that the radiator leaked.

Overall Review: When the 920 began failing CPU idle temperatures rose from the original 32C to about 47C (Intel Desk Top Utility).

When the Win 7 Defragmenter kicked in the CPU case temperature soared to 67C - the maximum. Photoshop and other programs would also overheat the CPU.

I replaced it with an Intel TS13X and CPU idle case temperature is back down to 32C.

Running the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool with a 20 minute maximum load CPU stress test raised the internal temperature to only 47C - well below the internal maximum of 96C!

Intel i7-3930K @3.20 GHz
Intel DX79SR motherboard
Windows 7 Pro with SP1
