The iPad Air 2 is 20% thinner and 28% lighter than the iPad 3 and iPad 4 tablet, so it feels unbelievably light in your hand. It is packed within a thin case and features a beautiful 9.7" Retina Display, LED-back lit, touch sensitive screen. The iPad Air 2 also includes a "Touch ID" fingerprint sensor.
Compared to its predecessor, the iPad Air 2 model has a thinner housing and an anti-reflective screen (said to reduce glare by 56%), a faster processor and twice the RAM. It also has better cameras and faster WiFi.
Other notable features include dual cameras (a rear-mounted 5 megapixel "FaceTime HD" camera, capable of shooting stills and 720p video.) A Dual-Band 802.11ac WiFi with MIMO support, and Bluetooth 4.0 as well as dual microphones and speakers. Connectivity to computers if desired, and power is provided by the lightening port.
