The Apricorn Aegis Padlock A25-3PL256-S8000 is an 8TB external solid-state drive with a USB 3.0 interface, suited to users who need substantial external storage for large file collections or backups.
Recommended For
- Mobile professionals carrying confidential project or client files between locations who want PIN access and hardware encryption built into the drive, rather than relying on encryption software installed on each computer.
- Teams that move large files among Windows, Mac, and Linux computers, especially where installing encryption apps is inconvenient; the Padlock uses keypad-based access and supports multiple operating systems.
- Field staff who need to carry an 8TB drive through dusty or wet work environments and value environmental protection alongside portable, solid-state storage.
- Organizations transferring sensitive files on removable drives that need user PINs and the option to set read-only access, rather than leaving an unlocked drive available to anyone who connects it.
