does this adhesive release its bond when heat is applied? I am repairing my cell phone, and i need to glue the display to the body of the phone..

No!  Once the bond is set it is permanent. No application of heat that won't melt your device will cause the bond to release. I use this compound to permanently attach copper heat sinks to video card processors without using screws and brackets. When allowed to fully set the bond is so strong that even when very hot, pulling the heat sink off will rip the video chip off the board without breaking the bond!

can this be used to attache a rear window deforster tab back on a jeep wrangler 2012?

This is adhesive for thermal conductivity. It enhances the thermal contacts so that heat transfers very well. It's for heating and cooling applications but not really an adhesive that you'd use to attach things. I used it to attach a small, 1lb, heat sink to a CPU processor and a waterblock heatsink to the other side of a peltier cooler and it's pretty strong.

I'd used a real adhesive from Home Depot for what you are doing.

What is the functional difference between the arctic 5, 5G and 7G (this product)? i have the 5, is it worth the 15 bucks to get the 7G?

AS5 Is A Thermal Compound, Where As AS7 Is A Thermal Adhesive. AS7 Is Not To Be Used On The CPU Because Once It Cures There Is No Removing It. It's Meant For Ram And VRM Heatsinks Only. Hope That Helps.

Sorry, don't have an answer to this. Just know that it is the best thermal compound that I have used in a motherboard and CPU.

what do i do if i lost the B part? can i use just the A part?

NO!..... This is thermal epoxy it's A+B or nothing.
