Pros: - Good processor - Stable
Cons: The heat spreader design needs more work. It's missing a tool to attach the spreader/M.2stick assembly to the riser if leaving the WiFi card connected. The screw is tiny, and so is the spreader hole. I had to screw the bottom part of the assembly in without the top part and then click the top part in(which is where the fins are) while the M.2 was already on the motherboard. The metal hooks for the top part are too flimsy, in this case that was a good thing as it allowed me to remove it easily, but there's no guarantee they won't fail sooner rather than later. Had to disconnect the USB in order to install the RAM stick.
Overall Review: I would recommended it above other Mini PCs for the same price, even with HDD and RAM included. I wouldn't pay more for it though. I was looking for a Firewall and this does its job magnificently. We'll see how long it lasts. This is from a known reputable brand and the SOC is designed for industrial use. The quality is definitely better than some mini PCs running on Intel Celeron/Atom with SSD and RAM included. I also prefer the fan as the thermal conductivity of most passive mini-pcs is questionable and you can read the reviews of dead ones all over the competitor. Stay away from those.
