Does this motherboard need a BIOS update to support the Kaby Lake CPUs?

Actually, 8th Gen Intel Core processors are Coffee Lake (which are only supported by Intel 300 Series motherboards), Intel Sky Lake (6th Gen) and Intel Kaby Lake (7th Gen) are supported by this board. The main question here would be, what Kaby Lake CPUs are you considering, as the Kaby Lake Xeon CPUs came out later than their Core Series counterparts. If you are going to use a desktop Kaby Lake CPU, you should be O.K., as Bios v7.10 (released 12/14/2016) should be installed when you receive the board. The newest Bios version is 7.30, released 03/12/2018. Go to the Warranty & Returns tab and click on Manufacturer Product Page to see this info.
