will this work with a intel i5 2500k and dell xps 630 parts? i want to upgrade my processor but the motherboard doesnt allow it.

This should work fine.   This is a wonderful board, and it is one of the most stable, well done boards.   I use this system for a media server, and security system server.   Works perfect.   I would buy this board again and again.

Does this support CrossfireX?

Yes but I wouldn't try to use it. New gen games don't handle dual graphics cards well. I mean I'm assuming you're using it for games since this is a gaming motherboard.
I just bought a really expensive graphics card and it's been fine.

Would this work with a dell t1650. it has xeone3-1200 processor?

sorry cant answer that.  I though Dells had proprietary form factors.  I have had Dells and all would not accept Mobo's I had purchased.  but the last Dell I bought was in 2006.

Question 5

If I'm trying to replace a motherboard for a dell 7010 with i7 3770mhz will this work? I know I'd also need to replace the tower and I imagine psu but will this otherwise transfer over and boot up?

That is pretty much what i did.  Took an I5 out of an hp workstation.  Put it in this board plugged in all my ram harddrives video etc.  Started right up.  Only had to install network drivers.  They are on the CD that comes with it.  Didnt even have to setup my desktop. Usually the icons reset to default order.  So Yes you can swap your stuff and it will work.  Just a suggestion get a 600 watt or more psu.

The motherboard is advertised on the main page as supporting intel i3 i5 i7 Celeron and Pentium processors. Under the specs it only lists the newer generation i3 i5 i7 processors. I'm having power up issues using  an  Intel Pentium G2140 Ivy Bridge Dual-Core processor. Can someone enlighten me on what processor I need?

Out dated MB, would recommend a 1150 or 1151, not made for the dual core, get an I7

Yes, but make sure you are on the latest bios and even more so if you are planning to put a ivy chipset on it! The original bios was designed for the Sandy-Bridge and will not know what to do if you dont update it and put an ivy chipset on it.

No.  The motherboard CPU socket is an LGA 1155, which has 1155 pin connections.  Your LGA 1366 CPU has 1366 connections.  So physically, would not work.  Not to mention the whole MB and CPU architecture.
