Would Overclocking/undervolting be safe on this card with the 3 8pin to 1 12v power adapter with my 750 watt psu? Or should I get an 850 watt psu with a dedicated 12v outlet? I want to overclock/undervolt this card but don't want to melt the 12v cable.

Yea its safe.  Just be sure & fully seat the connections whichever way you go. I have this card running on the 12v adaptor that came with the card. It works just fine. Personally, I run a 850 watt power supply. Sapphire recommends a minimum of a 750 watt power supply so you should be ok. I prefer to be above the minimum recommendation. Thats just a personal preference. I really like the hidden connections. Makes for a super clean install. Mine boost clocks to 3290 mhz out of the box.  Yea its expensive. Are we paying to much?  Well sure we are. You wont be disappointed though. Im not.

I am not able to get my motherboard to see the LED strip. Its stuck on this rainbow effect that I dont want to see. I have plugged in the provided MB rgb cable. James, try using the Trixx software. Seems to work well on my Sapphire Nitro 7800 and Asrock Taichi B650E. Also running Phanteks D30-120/140 fans and Lian Li Lighted MB/GPU cables that all seem to playing nice together. You could also try using SignalRGB which I have used successfully. Hope this helps.
