Question 1

What is the minimum number of ram cards needed.  Can I use 2 cards only or 4, 8?  Trying to buy ram but I don't know the minimum needed.

You must use only DDR4 modules.  That said, the manual only talks about 2, 3, 4 or more modules, so I would assume that a minimum of two should be used.  (I may be wrong...!).  If two are used, then Dual Memory Technology is activated.  If three are used, then Triple Memory Technology is activated.  If four or more are used, then Quad Memory Technology is activated.   Also, the manual points out that you must always install identical pairs of DDR4 DIMM modules:  same brand, speed, size and chip-type.

Question 2

2 Q's:

1.  Does this motherboard have wireless connectivity integrated into it?  Or do I need to purchase a separate wireless card?

2.  Does this motherboard have Bluetooth connectivity integrated into it?  Or do I need to purchase a separate Bluetooth card?

1. Built-in wifi.  You'll need to connect the (included) wifi antenna to the mobo.
2. I believe so, based on the answer someone else gave.

Alternatively, you can try downloading the mobo's manual online to verify this yourself.

Question 3

it looks like it has a molex plug will it support fans or do i need to run them through my psu?

The molex plug is to provide additional power if you have three graphics cards plugged in. Fan will need to be powered by the PSU.

Question 4

Newegg shows this MB uses 288 pin DDR4.  I purchased this MB along with G.Skill F4-2133C15Q-16GRB memory, which is on the supported memory list at ASRocks product page.  However, now that I this MB at home, the manual says this MB uses 284 pin DDR4?  What am I missing here?

Further more in section 2.3 of the manual is says "This montherboard provides four 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots"?

Question 5

The specifications say that there are 4x288pin Memory Slots, but lists the Maximum memory as 128GB.  Also in the photo it appears to have 8 slots.  Does it have 4 or 8 slots?

is the bluetooth built in the motherboard? if no coud you recomend another motheboard?

The bluetooth is part of a card installed in the Mini PCIe slot.  You can see it as the white block between PCIe3 and PCIe5.  It already comes preinstalled and all you have to do is connect the wiring for the antenna.  This card does not affect or use the Ultra M.2 slot which is located between PCIe1 and PCIe3.

If you do not want the wifi/bluetooth card installed, but still want the Mini PCIe slot, you can get the regular, non "ac" version of Extreme 6.  Or, you can get Extreme 4 which is completely lacking a Mini PCIe slot.  (That seems to be the only difference between the 3 models save for the dual ethernet ports.)
