How many "NAS" bays will it control?

This motherboard supports 5 SATA devices and 10 USB ports. Utilizing a single SATA port for an operating system you attach up to 4 HDD/SSD's, as well ad a number of USB storage devices.

You can enhance the storage capabilities with bay devices like the patriot RAID bays, and then network share everything via software of choice.

A NAS however is its own controller and needs no host. NAS stands for Network Attached Storage and would plug into your router.

Anybody know if this has a  place for an internal speaker? I've been searching for the pins for the better part of an hour for them?

When I was installing this MB I remember this as well.  I don't think it has one.  In the motherboard manual, it also doesn't list the pins for the PC Speaker.

Question 4

Is there a SATA controller on the PCI-E bus? I want to use this as a media (and other services) server, with the intent of using the mini pci-e slot for an mSata SSD, and using the 6G sata ports for the media/raid drives.

I believe there is a Marvell controller but please be sure you can boot off of it. In the past one could only boot off of the #0 SATA. Reason is that a driver needs to be loaded before Marvell functions.

Does this board have a USB 3.0 header for the case I/O?

Question 6

Anyone able to tell me why I can only get 65mbps off the built in Wifi, while all other devices on my network get 130-300mpbs?

Wasn't a driver issue.  just seems to be a defective module.  It would only use one antenna at a time, something to do with it sharing them for bluetooth.  I was able to get it at 130mbps for a couple of days by disabling the Bluetooth, then it just defaulted back to 65 and wasn't able to go higher no matter what tricks I tried.  I needed a new router anyway, so I went with an updated AC model.  Luckily it gets 433 over 5ghz latency free to my media server.

Will the mPCIe slot work only with the included BT/WiFi card or can I install a solid state drive in that port?

I havnt read where it can be done and the manual only specifies it's use for the wifi.  I did read where someone on a blog used it for msata on the h97 board.  But he was having heat issues.  Not necessarily just on the wifi. He was having board heat issues.  Never saw a response to his problem.

Question 8

Does this board support 1333mhz memory?
I am trying to do a pentium overclock build and I have already ordered 1333mhz memory. The memory standards in the board spec sheet do not include 1333mhz. Will it work?
