will i be able to use a mouse and keyboard while the device is charging ?

If you use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard the answer is yes. You can plug a USB hub into the charging port and add a mouse and keyboard but I do not think it charges the device. The forums at TabletPC Review may offer more insight.

What happened to the GPS? It had one listed before, but now it's not.

It comes equipped with a Broadcom GNSS 4752 Geolocation Sensor (GPS).
