Works fine!!! 9/25/2008 12:44:13 PM

Pros: Works great if you keep it cool, a little to hot for my taste, not to 105c like the other guys, for me the top was 80c degree in Crysis very high and COD4, and you have to max out to 100% the onboard fan but you can work this around with a good cooling system or fans in the case. Run smoothly on Bioshock

Cons: Too hot, You have to max out the on-board fan 100% to play very intensive games, like Crysis, COD4, World in conflict. Expensive!!$$, Noisy over 50% fan.

Overall Review: With the proper drivers, this card will give you the best ride you can imagine on a gaming rig.

Lasted for 3 minutes 8/7/2008 2:50:34 PM

Pros: Massive card, looks impressive.

Cons: Uses massive amounts of energy, takes 2 power connections just to function. Maybe that is why it failed after only 3 minutes of Stalker movie playing...I didn't even get to play the game. Operating temperature reached 107 deg C/226 deg F and then the 'blue screen of death'.

Overall Review: Was really looking forward to using my new gaming PC...now I'll have to wait forever to get a new GPU. Make sure your power supply can handle the power requirements of this GPU.

Headaches 7/20/2008 6:38:40 PM

Pros: Pretty picture on the card I guess. Also WHEN working, is a dream. Beautiful gaming, SmartDoctor has some nice functionality to play with fan speeds and monitor RAM and GPU temps. Also has live overclocking ability but never got around to messing with it (already ran well enough when working)...

Cons: Ever since I got this thing, it was nothing but a hassle. Wasn't compatible with Vista 64-bit no matter what I tried. Eventually just had to switch over to XP x64 and at this point everything ran well. As previous said, would run hot with any game (max I saw was 105C). Finally blew the other day when just trying to load a program, apparently its very taxing to load the black screen to get into Crysis.

Overall Review: Waiting on a new one, hopefully new one works well. Update review when comes.

Pros: Fast

Cons: Can get pretty hot (80*C+)

Overall Review: First one was defective -- shot to 106*C in 5 mins of playing anything. Seems to be a problem of the first batch of cards.

Too bad no zero 7/11/2008 8:32:18 PM

Pros: Absolutely none!

Cons: Total number of operating hours equals three! Then total failure of the card! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

Overall Review: And I was stupid enough to pay big money because it was brand new and the latest technology!!

Perfect buy! 7/6/2008 8:47:53 PM

Pros: Great performance. I was in shock playing Crysis with everything maxed out and never going under 200 fps! Call of Duty 4 gives me nothing less than 500 fps as well. Buy this card or save up; you will NOT regret this upgrade!

Cons: The price is a little iffy but I had the money at the time so why not? No cons to it though!

Overall Review: Save up for this card and you will get your money's worth, no joke! High frame rates isn't bad at all! Enjoy!

High-end = High-performance 6/21/2008 12:55:11 PM

Pros: Slick design and skin.

Performs as advertised on 64bit+ OS Systems running Vista and DirectX10.

SLI is supported and works smoothly.

GDDR3 Transition is nicely done.

Perfect for those of us that require 24"+ monitor support

Cons: Overkills on 1GB 512-bit

Clocks High with a High Heat output despite large fan.

SLI not nessicary for most games on market.

Loud, but you should expect that from this type of hardware.

Be prepared to goto the website and get drivers, the disk that came with stock drivers was useless, had to find a driver pack on my own.

Overall Review: I almost drooled when I opened the box. ASUS continues to impress me not only with performance and quality of hardware, but as well with design and marketing. The leather case and mouse pad are nice, a little excessive, but why not? This card is expensive but I belive i got my money's worth. Don't really see any need to SLI a twin at this point, but it's nice to have the option. I am honestly impressed. I sudgest running your performance testing software on this with friend's around, so that you can create a nice enviornment of envy. Happy gaming.
