Pros: Runs very cool the most I've seen on this card is 70c very good cooler despite what some may think
Cons: No cons so far
Overall Review: I would recommend this 3090 over most aibs
Pros: Luckily Newegg RMA has been an easy process so far, not sure how long I will have to wait for a replacement card but I have already waited this long.
Cons: Card could not be detected on two different motherboards, tried all the ASUS tech support recommendations but no luck.
Overall Review: I know this is a great card, I have a couple friends that have this card already and looking forward to upgrading from my 2080TI
Pros: -Good amount of memory to be future proof -Installation easy as 1-2-3 -Water cooling transformation whitout issue -Good to see standard 8-pins power plug -No useless RGB
Cons: None at this point Have a lucky "F5" strike on the web page to buy!
Overall Review: Went from 2 x 2080ti SLI to 1 x 3090. Surprisingly, I have about the same performance as my SLI 2080ti. The good point is that I am going from ~ 822W to 612W of total consumption under load. Currently in reflection if I dare a 2nd 3090 card for SLI, knowing the future of this technology.
Pros: - Hits 3440x1440 at 120hz easily - Every game I throw at it easily gets highest settings at above resolution and refresh rate - Fits in FormD T1 - Quiet - Cool (65c in gaming loads) - Undervolts easily - currently 950mV for 1990MHz boost - Streams 3440x1440 @ 60hz with minimal lag
Cons: - Price/performance is... less than stellar - Availability
Overall Review: This is a great card, but double check you need this vs the 3080. We will see how this holds up to AMD's offerings, but after coming from a 1080, this card is fantastic.
Pros: No gimmicks No useless extras Cold Big OC potential
Cons: A little boring looking Not enough power draw for strong overclock
Overall Review: TUF OC 3000 series is the The go to cards for all quality graphic card enthusiasts, who don’t need extra bells and whistles of the most premium lines of cards.
Pros: Build quality, powerful
Cons: As of writing this review this card is difficult and frustrating to obtain, expensive
Overall Review: The build quality on this card is impressive. The shroud is all metal. For a card with a “gaming” branding the design of the 3090 tuf is subtle and the RGB is tastefully done. You can easily control the lighting with ASUS armory crate software. This is an excellent, speedy GPU for creative task and thus far has handled every game thrown at it with ease. Up to 50-65% utilization the card was boosting to around 2K MHz. As utilization went up the boost clock would be lower. I have not yet done any overclocking beyond the baked in settings on ASUS GPU Tweak II. I would definitely recommend the ASUS TUF 3090.
Pros: ASUS Build quality all metal everything. Minimal RGB and low GPU temps while Gaming. I think it fell asleep while playing Doom Eternmal 4k @ 144FPS
Cons: Slight coil whine if I hate to gripe about something but I hardly notice it
Overall Review: This is what Jensen was talking about when he said its safe to upgrade. Papa I have ascended. Thanks Newegg!
Pros: - Can handle literally anything I throw at it - Stays quiet and cool while gaming - Somewhat easier to get than a 3080
Cons: - (Still) Extremely hard to get - Seriously, I was only able to get it because I woke up at 6am to an unexpected drop.
Overall Review: I was beginning to accept getting an EVGA 3080 through their website's queue system around 2022, but the stars alligned and my fingers were fast enough to snag this bad boy. If you're still pouncing on gpu drops, don't give up bros. The stars will eventually line up and you'll be the first one to check out :)
