In suggested combos, I have seen this motherboard is bundled with Ryzen CPUs that use Socket AM4. Since this motherboard accepts CPUs with socket sTRX4, is it safe to say that AM4 based CPUs will not fit onto this motherboard?

That is correct. AM4 based CPU's will not fit. I found this out when I purchased an AM4, took one look at my(this) motherboard and said, "oh ohhhh."

Do the satas and M2's support any sort of raid?

Yes, RAID is supposed for both SATA and NVME M.2 in RAID 0 (striped), 1 (mirrored), and 10 (striped and mirrored) configurations. I'm running two M.2 drives in RAID 0 for my system drive. Works beautifully.

Will this motherboard work with a Thread Ripper 2950X?

No, you need a TR4 socket motherboard for 2nd gen Threadrippers processors.
