what power supply in the world do I need to even run this thing on idle let alone try to run a game without tripping every breaker in my house?

This is not the motherboard for gaming. This chipset is for AMD Threadripper Pro Chipsets. These are way more expensive and not designed for gaming. You need a motherboard designed for the AMD Ryzen line. If you’re set on using this for gaming (not recommended) you will want at least 1500W, I would look at Seasonic or any platinum rated PSUs

Would this run large excel and googlesheet documents faster? Currently running I7-13700F with 16gb of memory, but seems to bog down even though CPU utilization is 20% and Mem is 62%. Plus I noticed AMD doesn't have a Gen5 mobo for the new SSD coming out. I'd imagine that'd help throughput a ton.
