Does the GPU support dual moniters?

Hi Miguel,

Yes, this card will support two monitors. That said, it depends on the type of monitors you are going to connect. You can see that there are two DVI ports. There is one HDMI port (just above the DVI ports) and at the top there is a port for an adapter port which could be use with a dongle (sold separately) to Hook up yet another monitor. This card is also capable of Eyefinity, which would allow you to configure 3 monitor to work together in order to act as 1 large monitor (supports most games, but takes some getting used to). Please check your monitors to be sure they have DVI ports on the back. If they are VGA (small 15-pin ports, often blue) you may purchase DVI to VGA adapters from Newegg, they are fairly inexpensive. Yes this card does support dual monitors, but if you want more than 2 you will need to buy an adapter. You can only use 2 non displayport ports at a time. If you are only using 2 monitors this shouldn't be a problem. I have a  monitor eyefinity setup, so I had to buy a displayport to vga cable for around $20.

Does this fit in a PCI Express 3.0 x 16 port?

Yes it will and is backward compatible like PCI Express x16 2.0 etc. Using 3.0 you will be getting everything out of this card and I can say for one thing that this card overclocks very high with just a click of a mouse button and runs very cool and stable not to mention is now the quietest card ever. This card is worth the money for sure and if you do a search for R9 270 it should say it comes with Battlefield 4 so you might want to call newegg about that cuz it doesnt put it in your cart. Ask for a guy named Zach Troncoza and he can help you out on the Battlefield 4 Bundle. Hope this helps and hope you get this card its a good one for the price. I am running 3 24" Asus monitors with it (Eyefinity) and I race a game actually a simulation called iRacing which uses gpu's very hard. I have my settings maxed out and run from 60-70%gpu usage with locked fps and unlimited fps it can spike up to full usage but rare and gives me 150-300 fps

I could swear when I ordered this it said it came with Battlefield 4 but when I got it all it was was the card?

When I ordered mine about two weeks ago, it did not have any notification saying that it came with BF4; however, a few days later, it did have the green-texted banner saying it came with the game code. When I checked a day or two later, that was gone, so it appears that it was available for a short duration of time. I would recommend that if you had the game code in your cart when you ordered the card, definitely contact Newegg's Customer service and ask what can be done with that, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to look into it for you.

What supplemental power connection is required?

Minimum 500W system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating if 24A). I went with the Corsair CX430 power supply. It has a 12V 32A on the rail. It works just fine on 2 builds with this gpu card overclocked to the max on each build. The card has a 6 pin connector. Hope this helps you out.

will a pcie3.0x16 card work ok in a pcie2.0x16 slot?

Yes. I would recommend just making sure you have a good enough power supply to go with it. Along with this card, I purchased a Thermaltake 600W PSU. It's working out great so far!

Does it require an external power supply?

It requires a 6 pin PCI-E connector from the power supply in your pc.  If you already have a graphics card, then you most likely have the connector already.  Either way, I would recommend either checking in the case, in the manual, or with the manufacturer of your computer.

Would this card be compatible with my Dell Precision Workstation 380?

First off, do you have PCI-E slot cause thats the only way this gpu would work? Next does your power supply meet the minimum requirement which is 500W but I recommend higher due to other components on the board may also use power from the supply.  Lastly do you have a pci-e power cable from your supply?  If you don't meet all of the requirements I suggest finding another gpu card or building a entire new system to save all the trouble.

Will this card work with a 460w power supply? (I have 2 6 pin PCIe connecters)

Depends on the power supply.  What is the brand?  460w would be pushing it.  You only need one pci-e connector,  but minimum recommended is 500w.  If it is a quality power supply like enermax, corsair, seasonic, you should be fine.  I ran one on a corsair cx-430M which is 430w.
