Pros: Thank you for the Catalyst 10.12 update, this card was utterly useless before that. But now, I have it OCd to 950MHz Core/1220MHz Memory using MSI Afterburner after I adjusted the voltage to ~1.21V using ASUS Smart Doctor (which is really just badly made, or it could be much more useful). Whoever designed the layout for ASUS Smart Doctor should be released. Great card though, I wonder what it could do if I replaced the thermal compound with some Shin-etsu or something else. At 1080p: Plays Crysis at High Settings Starcraft II at Ultra Mass Effect II - High Before the driver update, none of these would play past the first 5 minutes w/o crashing.

Cons: Horrible driver support when they launched it. No wonder I got it for so much less (hence no -1 egg)

Overall Review: Out of the box, I was able to score 3DMark Vantage Performance Score of 12,123 and High Score of 9,823. Huge improvements in the subtle details vs. the previous generation of Radeon cards. Nvidia GTX 470 is comparable to this, but if you are running an AMD/ATI based Motherboard and Processor, this is a better performing card.

Pros: 1) Made by ASUS. 2) Excellent cooling design-full load @ 68C w/Furmark. 3) Low power consumption. 4) Great performance and smooth frame rates in all games at 1920x1080.

Cons: 1) The card is about 9.5" long, which makes it a tight fit in some cases, even my Antec 300. 2) Even with the great cooling design by ASUS, I wish it was made to blow the air out of the back of the case.

Overall Review: This card requires a good-quality 500-watt power supply in order to run stable. I was using a 430-watt PSU with my 5770, and had to upgrade that as well to a 500-watt for this 6850. I can now play Medal of Honor and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 at 1920x1080 with settings on high! High quality settings definitely makes a difference in the gaming experience. This card is highly recommended.

Cons: -Overclock limits low: Core 1000 MHz Memory 1250 MHz

Overall Review: I removed heatsink by simply unscrewing the four screws on the back of the card. Then I scraped the waxy TIM (thermal interface material) off the heatsink and the GPU and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol. I applied Arctic Silver 5 on both heatsink and GPU and put back on heatsink. Using MSI Afterburner (free app can be used with any brand videocard, but can also use Catalyst Control Center as well) OC'ed core to 940 and the memory to 1250. I used 3DMark 11 as a benchmark for stability. Highest temperature is only 60 degrees celsius. -i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz OC'ed to 4.8GHz -Asus P8P67 Mobo -ASUS EAH6850 DirectCU OC'ed from 790MHz to 940MHz -COOLER MASTER HAF 922 case -CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready PSU -OCZ Vertex 2 120GB SATA II SSD

Pros: I feel it was an upgrade to my 4870,same size,quieter,cooler.The power plug on the side (instead of on the back of the card) made the connection really simple,and faster. Newegg is always a plus.

Cons: As mentioned before the Drivers,I didn't receive a disk in the box,just the cross fire bridge,power adapter,DVI to VGA adapter plug.I don't think it was worth losing an egg. I already had the latest ATI drivers,which weren't compatible with 6000 series.So I had to roll back my drivers.I'm not using the Beta driver just recently released.

Pros: Quiet, cool, and handles its business. Haven't had any problems running any of my games on maximum settings.

Cons: The design didn't allow the card to clip into my tool-free chassis but I just used screws so it's not a big deal.

Overall Review: Really no complaints about the card so far. It does exactly what I ask it to do and doesn't complain in the least. If I could take it out to dinner and buy it flowers I would. Best bang for your buck guaranteed.

Pros: Price vs Performance!!! This card screams for the price. I upgraded from a 5770 and instantly saw the difference on BFBC2. I am playing it at 1600x900 and it looks awesome. It is very low power consumption vs Nvidia cards, and much better bang for your buck.

Cons: Catalyst 10.12 drivers. If you have your computer set to turn off the monitor after x numbers of minutes, you have a good posibility of crashes. This is a widespread issue with 10.12. Your choices are either install 10.11 or earlier (supplied on Asus DVD), or disable the function to turn off the monitor or sleep after x minutes of inactivity.

Pros: Very quiet, low power draw, decent frame rates, lots of connection options.

Cons: I bought this thinking that AMD/ATIs user interface would make it a better HTPC card than my old nVidia 240GT. Perhaps I'm just used to my old setup, but I found nVidia's suite easier to manipulate. That said, once I had it set up the way I wanted it, I haven't had any problems. No Physx.
