I just got this laptop today. It has MS Office installed but doesn't seem to have a Product Key. Is there supposed to be a Product Key or is
 this only a trial version of Office?

Unfortunately it is only a 30 day trial. You can sign in , and purchase a key at the end of the 30 days, or transfer from another Pc.

is the battery user replaceable?

No it is basically a sealed system, no access to hard drive compartments, memory chips , or 
battery it appears you would have to remove the entire bottom to access any internal
compartments. If I had known this I probably would not have bought it. Also the WI-FI stopped working already less than 30 days after it arrived.

I generally get about 6 hours for work and 1.5 hours of gaming if I do not have it charging during use.

Does it get heated too quickly?

It depends on a lot of factors, what program you are running, airflow to the intakes, airflow on the exhausts. But playing a resource intensive game I have only hit 88° C on the CPU after a very long session (with fan speed set to overboost). I believe the GPU has never broken 80° C for me.

Can I play using the AC adapter without charging the battery? Because I'm concerned about get the battery damaged because of playing using the AC adapter

Yes, you can! This will not damage anything and in fact will preserve your baterry life. But be careful not to disconnect the charging adapter while playing, otherwise the laptop will shut off.

Can you let us know exactly what type (name brand etc.) of RAM this computer ships with so I can buy a 2nd stick to match (or if it is 2x8 then to buy 2 16gb sticks) ?
