Pros: very stable, fantastic bios, easy to overclock using a 2700x. using the stock wraith prism cooler I have stable overclocks that don't get over 65C. I'm currently running at 4100 stable on all cores with no issues whatsoever. I've been an Asus user for years. This is replacing my ten year old Asus G73JH that is still working and has been all over the world.
Cons: the only con is if you buy another brand and don't give Asus a shot to impress you
Overall Review: UPDATE: 4200 stable on STOCK AMD COOLER under full load. FYI...my CPU temp dropped 7c by adding 3 more 120mm fans for a total of 6. I bought Aigo Darkflash MR12's. Three on the front blowing in, one on top rear and two on top blowing out. https://valid.x86.fr/1yv2cf
Pros: - Strong product. Heavy and solid. - The UEFI BIOS is very adequate for me. Love all the features its provide. -Tons of new features. - I trust ASUS for the security of my RIG. With the implant VDDCR, DIGI+VRM and few more, had that kind of protection with my previous MOBO was m5a99fx pro v2 and it still use it since 2014. Never died on me. - Very cool design, lots of options for customization with Aura Sync - Love the FanExpert - I never really OC, but there is tons of features in the UEFI BIOS for that. So much to try and test. Still need to read all the manual.
Cons: - None so far that I've aware off.
Overall Review: - Make sure to use anti-static wrist when touching the motherboard. - Never put the motherboard on the plastic bag it came from. The inside is anti-static but the outside is not and conduct electricity! CAUTION
Pros: All the bells and whistles Ill ever need. Quality product, packaging and documentation. Very solid feeling MB, was not worried about breaking it while installing. Very happy with The Bios setup and all the options available for overclocking.
Cons: Asus RGB software sets off anti cheat software in games. This is a known issue and ASUS needs to address the issue. Division 2 is one that Im having an issue with currently and there are many others having this issue. This was kinda a big deal for me so I took .5 egg away on this. You guys have had plenty of time to add a patch to this software. (Republic of Gamers) .....lol is this whole republic of games playing with a NON lit RGB keyboard??? fix your software please?? M2 cover looks as if its RGB to match the North, its NOT......-.5 egg...... is that a snapchat filter?? the actual product is silver there
Overall Review: I would recommend this board over many other brands but in the same breath I would talk smack about a huge company that cant get an RGB app to work properly. Maybe in the future someone could make an RGB app that would run EVERYTHING.....imagine the possibilities >.<
Pros: Excellent perfomance
Cons: Tech support - not good at all. That's my reason for knocking off an egg. Update (12-10-2018): Asus tech support did respond subsequently to my first review - but I had already solved the problem.
Overall Review: I just fixed the download speed on the on-board Intel I211-AT network adapter after struggling with it for over a week. I have 3 wired Ethernet PCs, and the older 2 are getting 60 Mbps downloads on a 60 Mbps ISP connection. The X470-F PC would only download at 8 Mbps(!!!). Tried for a week to fix it before calling Asus's tech support. Tried different drivers, cables (I use Cat 6a STP), Wireshark, ISP support, different NIC, network resets, etc, etc - with no luck. Asus responded with a boilerplate newbie-type questionnaire, which I diligently answered - and that was the last I heard from them. (See updated con above). I was pretty much convinced until today that I had a faulty network adapter, and was about to RMA the board. Then I tried Tweaking dot Com's Windows Repair Tool. For those of you who haven't tried it, it's an EXTREMELY powerful suite of tools. I used the Network Repair option ONLY, and it worked!! Make sure you back up your registry first before you use it, of course. I hope this saves some of you from returning a good board.
Pros: Booted right up, no problems, bios was even up to date. Enabled D.O.C.P. (AMD version of XMP) and memory chugging along at 3200.
Cons: None
Pros: Looks great. Does what it need to do. Had no issues with my 1st gen ryzen.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Easy Bios flash Price is decent
Cons: M.2 cover has like 4 screws and 3 plates Time consuming
Overall Review: Paired with a 3rd gen ryzen chip Easy and worked with bios flash update Tho the only problem I had was after updating the motherboard in less than 24hrs it crapped out on me and took out my hard drive along with my the motherboard as well. Glad it didn’t take out my cpu or gpu But I was reading on threads that it has happened to people after updating the bios... So when I got my return I left it stock bios out of the box Has been working fine I believe I was just unlucky and got a defective model but I’m pretty happy

Pros: Looks. This board has a flare to it but without having so many lights its hard to look at. This board has plenty of features several fan headers, 1 click overclock, and much more. Layout of the headers are thought out.
Cons: I would have liked the bottom heatsink to have rgb but it still looks great.
Overall Review: 10 of 10 would recommend.
