Does this support the ryzen 9 3900x out of the box?

Accepted Answer

Yes, The board is labeled "AMD Ryzen Desktop 3000 Ready" and will accept and boot all 3xxx series processors out of the box without requiring an update. However, this doesn't mean the board has the latest BIOS installed.

Question 2

I notice this has a water pump+ cooler. I've been out of the PC building market for awhile and never messed with liquid cooling, does this mean I have to use liquid cooling with this motherboard, or can I just not use the pump and go with a air cooling solution?

You may check out Reviews on YouTube about this motherboard. 
There is so much going on with this X570 and the chipsets installed on it to keep it cool. 
This motherboard itself has only one small fan to cool one set of chipsets on the lower right corner.

You may use an air cooler, an AIO ( All in One ) or a custom water cooling setup for the cpu. 
I got my rig set up with an AIO cooler to keep my Ryzen 3700X cool.

This motherboard has a number to headers to plug in fans, a water pump for the cpu and RGB lighting strips.

It gives you a lot of options to set up your build the way you want it to be.

does this board come with wifi? the asus website says only select boards have it

This does come with WiFi, but for the price there’s more affordable boards with WiFi from gigabyte. Honestly, I bought this thinking I would use the WiFi, but I still use a 100ft Ethernet cord to my router lol. Also if you don’t need the WiFi/Bluetooth get the cheaper one.

Does this mobo support OS boot from M.2 NVMe drive?

Yes. You need to make sure you configure the BIOS correctly though. I have it working

Does this board come with Windows 10?

Accepted Answer

No. You have to buy a Windows 10 license separately from Microsoft. I think you can buy an OEM license (cheaper than a Retail license) with the only caveat that the product key remains tied with the motherboard on activation. You won't be able to trasnfer that same OEM product key to another mobo

Question 6

I am interested in putting a Corsair Force MP600 M.2 SSD into a build with this mobo. That particular NVME drive comes with a heatsink that is removable if the mobo has a native cooling solution for M.2 drives. Does this mobo have a cooling solution for those drives that will be able to dissipate heat equally or better than the stock heatsink on the MP600?

the m.2 heatsinks on the mobo are right above and below the pcie slots. good size and weight, should keep any drive cool

Can you shut off the rgb lighting?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can shut off lights, using the downloaded app software after setting up your pc. 
Lights will turn on during your initial boot setup. 
But you can shut them off afterwards, given time of booting up the first time. 
Download and update the required software to shut off lights, you'll need it in order to do so.

will this board work with the Ryzen 7?

Accepted Answer

Yes but it depends on which Ryzen 7 processor you use. The AMD X570 motherboards are compatible with all AMD Ryzen processors except the 1st generation of Ryzen processors. This means any X570 motherboard will work with Ryzen processors whose model numbers start with 2 or 3 (Ryzen 7 2700 and Ryzen 7 3700 for example) but not that start with 1 (the Ryzen 7 1700 for example).
