Pros: Amazing all around board, no compromises.
Cons: It is a little bit pricy
Pros: Worked out of the box. Took my 32gb G.Skill 3000mhz DDR4 just fine - had to set XMP2 mode otherwise I had instability. Armoury Crate installed automatically adding needed LAN support. 2 M.2 NVMe drives installed on board with none sticking out like on the Tuf Z270
Cons: BUGGY AS EFF AUDIO DRIVER causing freezing, BSOD, crashes. Intel PCIe Power Management bug - had to set to High Performance power profile. Only one audio driver version available from ASUS so I went back to the Windows 10 default HD audio driver. I haven't had an issue since rolling back Only 2 BIOS versions, release and update.
Overall Review: Needs a front panel Q connector... expected a bit more fluff for a ROG series board.
Pros: Easy to use BIOS
Cons: ASUS AURA didnt work Caused constant blue screen/hardware issues
Overall Review: Worked good for about a few months but started getting constant hardware and blue screens when playing games or watching videos i changed out the motherboard with a new one and haven't had the issue since.
Pros: Went with this because Asus, along with a few other various reasons, like building a computer.
Cons: It won't talk to me, I hope it's not mad, I gave it an i5 when it really wanted an i9
Overall Review: I really wanted to build a normal everyday computer I could use for web browsing and light gaming inside an old compact atx case I could carry and not look hilarious while doing so. My main machine is in a xigmatek elysium, my sister fits inside that case with the side panel on. The case this board went into is the cooler master elite 360, in which no space was wasted. The main reason behind this purchase was the game "Republique" in which you play as a girl named "Hope", code named "390-H", and help her escape a totalitarianism. Specs -This board -i5-9600k -32gb low profile ddr4-2666 -Asus RTX 2060 -1tb crucial P1 ssd (boot; games) -LG WH16NS60 -3tb toshiba hdd (movies; shows; music) -Evga SFX 650w (ATX psu interfered with graphics card, that's how tight it is)
Pros: Not much to say other than it's a solid motherboard. I have no complaints.
Cons: None I can think of.
Pros: The ASUS ROG Strix Z390-H Gaming Motherboard LGA1151 (Intel 8th and 9th Gen) ATX DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 Gen2 Gigabit LAN is a KILLER MOTHERBOARD !! And Corn Electronics is definitely an Honest / Dependable Seller !! THANK YOU !! AAAAA+++++
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Totally Thrilled with using this Motherboard in my new PC !! :))
Pros: When the board is okay it works wonderfully. Solid and dependable.
Cons: Had to go through 4 of these to get one good one. Had three show up with bent pins on the cpu mount. With the difference in how the board/cpu socket works it would seem that somewhere in packaging process the pins on the board got bent and I didn't notice them being so. Toasted an I7 9700F in one and didn't get a chance to try the others as I did notice the bent pins after the first one. Tried one more time and it seems to be good and solid with an I7-9700f in it
Overall Review: This was such a wild aberration from how the ASUS parts I have previously purchased. I suspect I got caught up by the law of averages and had all my bad luck with ASUS in one string of events. I will continue to buy ASUS gear as they are usually solid products that last.
Pros: As a first time PC builder (been using laptops since the beginning of time), this made my build a lot easier. Two case fan headers, PWM support too (learned what that was in the last week!), and as soon as you install windows (then boot to it), it installs the shell program that gets every other driver installed!! Clicked device manager, no question marks or uninstalled drivers at all!! It installs Fan Xpert 4, and you can manually control your buttons with (an annoying) pop up program and click the fan speed you want. This version doesn't have wifi, but that's okay. USB wifi isn't too bad, and I sit right next to my 8 port gigabit switch because I have Google Fiber, and want all of my Gigabit speeds. Updated the bios the day I got it (Wednesday, Nov 28th) and there was already another update to 1002 a couple days after I got it. Updated to that! If I had the extra money, I would of went with the -E version, as it has WiFi and heatsinks for the NVMe drive I use. Plus it has two RGB headers (The H has just one) and an addressable rgb header (whatever the heck that means!).
Cons: Cheaper board, less features than the E or above.
Overall Review: Google "wwjoshdew" and I posted a YouTube video called "I built my First Desktop". I used this board in that video.
