When running a PCIe v5 x4 M.2 drive, does this board still allow the PCIe v5 x16 GPU slot to run all 16 lanes at PCIe v5 speeds ?

No. If you put ANY drive in the PCIe v5 M.2 slot, it will cut your PCIe lanes on the GPU slot down to x8. If you want max performance from your GPU, you effectively have 4 M.2 slots available (1 CPU, 3 chipset), instead of 5.

Has anyone found a QVL for this?

if you visit asus driver support and choose this model, it will display options of supported memory/cpu combinations.

This board has problems with intel i226 what is the solution. Network does not work well on this board?

Josh, I believe Intel (?) came out w/ a new driver for this some time back, since so many folks have had issues. I haven't run it because I've built several systems using that i226 and have had no issues. Hope this helps.
