In theory you can - the ASUS site has Windows 7 64bit drivers listed for download.  I installed Windows 10 Home 64bit due to Microsoft ending support in a couple of years.  Give it a try - you can always upgrade to 10 later.

Question 4

Does it matter what PCI slot you use for your video card? I have a EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SC ULTRA GAMING video card, and i'm not getting any video (using hdmi and DP connectors). I'm using the PCI 2.0 slot for more space, but maybe I need to use the 3.0 slot instead? I saw a review stating that NVME slots (not sure where those are) would disable the PCI slots if in use. I've connected everything my case, power supply, and motherboard came with.

You should always use the top slot if possible for preference how ever you should get a monitor signal no matter which slot you use. The NVME is for ssds and they might disable some SATA (hdd/sdd) on the mother boards. But since you don't even know what they are I doubt you have any and besides they would not disable the video slots only the a sdd/hdd connection/port. You may also need to make sure your monitor is set for the correct connection type check your monitor manual to see how to change that. Good luck

I have been trying to decide which processor I want to use when I saw that all (or at least most) 2nd gen Ryzen's list DDR4 2933 as the only RAM to use. However, this board does not appear to be compatible with 2933. And the is no 2933 listed on the QVL. Has anyone tried using DDR4 2933 with this board? I have had several people tell me they are using DDR4 other than 2933 with the 2nd gen Ryzens with no issue. I (mistakenly?) believed this board was set up to take full advantage of the upgrades in 2nd gen Ryzens. I guess my question is can I use DDR4 2933 with this board? And would it be an overclocking? Also, why would Asus not have any 2933 on the QVL?

I was able to use a CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 Desktop Memory Model CMK16GX4M2L3000C15 Kit with this motherboard.  However, I had to go into the BIOS and manually set the speed to 3000 (from 2400).  I did not have any problems.  Perhaps you may have to do a similar BIOS correction to use your memory at the 2933 specification.  My system specs:

The only problem I had was the CPU fan header going kaput.  By plugging in the RGB plug to the motherboard, and adapting the CPU fan plug to a molex, I was able to use the system with the full RGB lighting, although it is concealed by my El Cheapo case.

Is anyone else missing screws? Only 4 came with the motherboard, but the installation manual calls for 8.

I don't remember how many the board came with - I generally have a pile of extra build screws though. Maybe scavenge some from an old desktop if you have one laying around? The ATX mounting screw threads have been the same since forever.

Will the 4Pin fan headers support 3pin fans?

Yup! 4th pin is just used by the mobo to control the fan's speed. Should be able to plug in without the 4th pin.

Can I use DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 on this motherboard?

No, The DDR4 slots will not physically fit the DDR3 sticks by design.

Question 9

Why is this motherboard only have a 3 year warranty? I thought the "TUF" branded items were supposed to be longer lasting and more durable (and come with a 5 year warranty) so I was a little caught off guard when I saw the warranty isn't any better than most other motherboards.

Yeah I was in the same boat. I have a Z87 Sabertooth Board with a 5 year warranty. I am disappointed TUF has lost confidence with their product, and judging on how they cheaped out on even basic features like LED indicator lights they have 5 years ago, I am assuming they are just trying to milk the TUF brand and sell cheaper board under that name
