Is it worth it to buy refurbished monitors? What are the risks?

There is always a risk for any electronic device that it could have something wrong, or be dead on arrival. With that being said, refurbished equipment has more of a chance to show wear and tear to the exterior more than anything else, though in some cases, the equipment could have been used for a short period. I bought two of these monitors, they both looked like new, but one had a flickering problem when switching video input. I simply RMA'd it and they sent me another one which worked fine. Make sure you check everything on them as soon as possible so you can RMA it if needed!

Can the screen be tilted and height adjusted up and down on this monitor? Thank you Gerry

I took the stand off to use in a 4 monitor setup on adjustable arms, but as I remember it is a tilt stand but not a height adjustable stand. Regards,
