The hard drive and memory can be accessed by removing the rear cover (10 screws and then unsnap all around the edge) The drive is a Toshiba MQ04ABF100, 2.5" slim SATA drive. It could be easily replaced with any other slim SATA drive (mechanical 7200rpm or an SSD) The memory also can easily be replaced.

I want to upgrade to 16 GB DDR4, 256 GB SSD Can I do that ?

Look at specs. 4 GB built in. The stick of 4 GB can be replaced with 8 GB for a total of 12 GB.

Yes. We upgraded this laptop to Windows 10 Pro as soon as we received it. Actually, you can upgrade any Windows computer to any version of Windows 10 as long as you have the correct product key for the version of Windows you want to install.
