Does this mobo support CPU fans? and how many fan connectors is there? it doesnt say in the specs

Yes it does support CPU fans.  There are I believe 8 4-pin fan connections total.  I am uncertain how many are designated "CPU" but I assume 2 (it has been awhile since I built these boxes).

Question 2

I want to set up 2 SSD raids, the first one, 2x256 gb (SATA 3gbs) and the second one 2x1tb (SATA 6 GBs). Is this possible....would this board allow me create these 2 RAIDs  using only SSD drives?

Absolutely. I have done this very configuration before with Samsung SSDs and it works great.

does anyone know what version of the bios this board comes with?

They typically come with a relatively recent version, unless the board has been sitting in a warehouse for an extended period of time.

If you're concerned about support for the latest Ivy Bridge (Xeon V2) processors, I bought the board from NewEgg in November of last year (2013) and it came with the 5105 BIOS, which was released in August of that year and supported the V2s.  I'd have to imagine any purchase at this point would come with at least that version.

Good luck on your build.  It's been an absolutely fantastic board for me - two 2690 v2's, two Noctua NH-U12DXi4 coolers and 32 gigs of ram.  The coolers fit perfectly, they're quiet, clear all the ram and keep the processors cool.  The system has been rock solid stable from day one, and the ATX form factor gives you much more freedom in choosing an enclosure.  I'd buy another in a heartbeat... if I had the money to build another system like this!

Okay, this is going to sound like a dumb question, but I've ran into this before and now have a motherboard I can do nothing with.  I have an Intel processor of socket type LGA2011.  Is this board an LGA2011 or LGA2011-3 socket board?

If you are like most folks interested in running Win10 pro with a dual E5-2670 setup, it works great :D

does this mother board support NON ECC  DDR3 ?

Most likely not. That would vary specifically on the ram and what the manafacturer decided... But most likely NO

Specifications list your machine can use RDIMMs, would recommend you check with the manufacturer whether you can use 10600R 2Rx4. 
My question is, can i use 10600R 2Rx4 ? i have no idea what that means, but that's the ram I'm going to get if it will work. Thanks

Hi I purchased this board about a year ago and set it up with a single xeon E5-2630 v2 processor and a single 16 gig stick of memory. Make sure your processor is also compatible as I almost bought the v3 processor that wouldnt have been compatible. The memory I used successfully was:Kingston 16GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC Registered DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Server Memory (Hynix A) Model KVR16LR11D4/16HA.
One very minor anoyance with this board and probably many boards is an Intel boot manager that comes up and slows the boot process but that can be disabled in the bios.

Not sure if this helps but overall have been very happy with this board.

I am not sure what you mean by engineering sample, but I purchased this board with a Xeon E5-2620v2  and it worked perfectly without needing a bios update/firmware updates.

What power supply do you suggest using the power supply I have has incorrect connectors. This has 2 E5-45xx intel cpu  and full load of 32gb plus sas/pike raid card, 6sasdrives io fusion pci 1.2tb, audio card (mio), also possibly a radeon 6450hdmi video card. in a mid tower atx case?

I'm using a Corsair AX-860 professional, and have had zero problems.  It's a modular supply and includes two EPS connectors and plenty of 6-pin/8-pin PCI connectors and 12 SATA connectors.

Can I connect standard SATA drives to the SAS connectors?  Or do I have to use NLS drives to ensure that things work on these ports?

This MOBO doesn't come with SAS, you have to add a PIKE RAID card to work with SAS or other PCI based disk controller. I'm guessing you'll be fine with the SATA drives you'd like to connect.  Keep in mind - there are 2x6Gb/s SATA and 4x3Gb/s SATA connectors.  I.e. don't expect to get the max out of an SSD without going to the 6Gb/s connector.
