Does it come with the cable to hook up the SAS interface? It's not pictured, so I would guess not. I don't want to purchase this and be disappointed.

No, it nit comes with data cable. Furthermore, if you like to connect to motherboard on the SATA connector directly, you should use "reverse breakout" cable.
