It supports a side-mounted liquid cooler and can fit up to a 280mm radiator for custom loop configurations. The top mount can accommodate a 360mm radiator for a dual radiator setup, and it supports large air coolers over 180mm in height. Cable management is streamlined in the Y40, featuring space behind the motherboard shelf and within the PSU shroud. The Y40 assembly is user-friendly, ideal for those familiar with ATX case building. It features a widened cable management view port on top of the case for easy CPU 8 pin power or fan header plugging. The front glass is secured with screws for easy removal during assembly, and the cable shelf surrounding the PSU helps manage excess cabling. The Y40's thermal performance setup is similar to the Y60's, ensuring optimal airflow for air-cooled GPUs. When using a liquid-cooled GPU and CPU, the side fans' airflow direction has less of an overall thermal impact.
The Y40 also boasts superior air-cooled GPU thermal performance compared to the Y60, thanks to its larger clearance between the GPU fans and side glass.
