I have a  HP-450-G1  Laptop (purchased from Newegg) with a 500Gb internal hard drive.   Will your product:

work as a direct replacement for my internal hard drive??

it should work. it has the same specs as the stock hard drive.

What size cache does this hard drive have? Also, what are the RPMs?

16MB of cache, SATA 3.0Gb/s, and it is a 5400 RPM drive. Look under the specifications tab on the Newegg webpage for this.
