Note:

1. To receive audio from both Optical and L/R output ports, the input source device format must be set to PCM/stereo.

2. This HDMI ARC port doesn't support connecting audio devices, only TVs.

3.This audio extract has no power indicator, only an input device indicator. When using the ARC function, the input indicator light is flashing a little bit, but not always on, this is normal.

For ARC Function(TV —> SPDIF/3.5mm):

1.Your TV must have an ARC HDMI port.(Otherwise the TV sound cannot be transmitted to any audio device.)

2.For ARC Function, there is no sound output from the TV, only output audio devices have sound.

3.Does not support CEC function.(Cannot control output volume via TV remote, you can only adjust the volume on your speaker/ sounder/ home theater)

4.Supports memory function.(Restore the last working state after restarting the product)

5.Audio input only supports PCM/LPCM and stereo.(simulated 5.1 surround sound)

6.To achieve 4K@60Hz resolution, you must use HDMI 2.0 specification cables.

Troubleshooting: No sound from optical output audio device (ARC)

1. Please confirm if your TV supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality. If not, unfortunately, the audio will not be transmitted to your audio device.

2. If your TV does support ARC, please connect your TV's “HDMI ARC” port to the “HDMI ARC OUT “port on the extractor.

3. Ensure that the ARC feature on the extractor is turned on.

4. You should also set your TV’s audio output channel to the ARC channel.

5. Finally, please make sure the input channel on your audio device is set to optical.

For HDMI Audio Extractor:

1. Does not support CEC function.(cannot control output volume via TV remote control)

2. Audio input only supports PCM/LPCM and stereo input.(simulated 5.1 sound effect)

3. To achieve 4K@60Hz resolution, you must use HDMI 2.0 specification cables.

4. All output audio devices have audio output.
