I am using this on a MSI A78M-E45 V2 and I bought it as it was stated as it used up to 64GB memory. Well with just the one stick it will not post up or start. Do I need to have 2 or these sticks for 32gb or not? Or do I need unregistered and unbuffered ?

I ran to similar problem, after changing the motherbaord, it was still not posting anything, no beep sound at all. I contacted the motherboard support who told me the motherboard support that thememory was not compatible.I ended up buying new memory module and motherboard. I come to find out that type of memory works on servers. Hope this help, you have to ensure with the motherboard manufacturer that the memory is 100% compatible before you take the jump.
