Died after exactly 2 months 7/10/2016 10:32:23 AM

Pros: -Reasonably priced
-High density

Cons: -Lasted only 2 months before one stick failed completely.

Overall Review: I don't know if running Memtest86+ on day 1 would have revealed the issue, but I started Memtest86+ last night after about a dozen BSOD MEMORY_MANAGEMENT errors within 1 minute of logging into Windows (both a Win10 and Win7 OS on different drives). I re-seated both RAM modules and ran Memtest86+, which found 150,000+ errors within the first couple hours. Errors were in large blocks and always the same bit, obviously a serious problem.

Note that I hadn't made any hardware changes to my system since this RAM upgrade 2 months ago. Any time I have to disconnect my tower and work on it outside of periodic cleanings is annoying and inconvenient, taking time out of my very busy school, work, and parenting schedule. Unless Crucial's warranty department impresses me, I'm calling these a horrible purchase.

Rather disappointing RAM 1/16/2016 11:10:04 AM

Pros: Works OK so far, incl. MEMTEST for a couple of hours

Cons: GIGABYTE GA-Z97-HD3P motherboard reported SPD of only 1333 MHz, not 1600. Had to go to "XMP" setting to get 1600. This strikes me as misrepresentation.

Overall Review: Had some RAM a few years ago that would freeze at its nominal rated speed of 1333 MHz, but would work at 1066.

Crucial! Is there any other? 6/7/2015 8:48:49 AM

Pros: Look, I been building systems for 15-20 years. Never had a bad Crucial stick of RAM. This RAM is fast.
I realize people have their favorites out there, But Crucial has done me right for a long time, so why even consider changing!

Cons: None! But then I never expect any!

Overall Review: Just can't beat Crucial RAM in IMHO. Great RAM at a fair price! Yes you can buy cheaper, buy is it really worth it!
NO not for me!

Great RAM 4/20/2015 10:26:39 AM

Pros: Great RAM for the price. Best latency and frequency I could find, works with no issues.

Cons: Not a big fan of the color, but even with a case with a window it's not really visible anyway.

Overall Review: Defaulted to 1333MHz, but very easy to fix.

Want more 8/30/2014 12:13:03 PM

Pros: I haven't run any specific tests to test the performance of this ram, but I can say it has done its job so far. The stats it claims show up in bios, and every game I've installed on this machine has played beautifully.

Not sure what else to say about the RAM other than it's worked well from the first use until now, without any issues. I use the PC everyday. It is on for several hours a day. I've had them well over a year now.

Cons: Lately I've been thinking about getting more just for the hell of it, to max out my PC. But they are almost twice the price I paid for them. So, I wait.

Overall Review: 3770k 3.5ghz
7970 HD Radeon 3gb
16gb RAM
120gb SSD HDD
630w 80+ bronze PSU

Everything stock and still plays every game so far between high to max without issue.

Fast, stable, no fuss 8/10/2014 5:11:20 AM

Pros: - Low latency timings at stock DDR3 1600 speeds
- Operates at stock JEDEC 1.5v
- no major configuration needed, just enable XMP in your BIOS/UEFI

Cons: - Price has DOUBLED compared to when I bought these a year and a half ago
