Would it be better to purchase to sets to achieve 32 or buy the the 32 kit ?

Usually the kits run cheaper.  Keep in mind these modules have heat sinks already attached so they take up some room.  I put these in an idx board so real estate was tight.  You may want to consult with the mb manual to see if these are the right ones for this project.

Question 2

I'v been shopping for 1866 16gb ddr3. I like these due to the great timing 9-9-9-24 at 1866. but cant decide between these and another brand from AMD with same speeds but timing is 9-10-9-27. They are both the same price. Will i see much of a performance gain if i decide on the Crucial? My sytem is a AMD FX 8310 cpu, Asus m5a99x evo r2.0 based on AMD 990x chip. AMD firepro W7000 gpu. Samsung 850 evo 250gb SSD. 3tb WD HDD.

You will probably not see a noticeable difference unless you're using a program that is a memory hog. Then you might notice a slight difference. However, if the two are the same price, I would go with the crucial memory sticks. Crucial is higher quality than AMD when it comes to memory sticks. I have my crucial memory sticks paired with an AMD CPU and they work great together.

Is this RAM compatible with an Asus Z-87 Expert motherboard?

Antonio V,  this is the memory I have been using for the last 1 1/2 years.  I have not had any problems at all.  The Asus Z87 expert has been a great board so far.

Question 4

I have a Samsung NP355E7C-A01US model Laptop with two memory slots...... Is this memory compatible with my system since I have the Physical Address Extension Mode enabled on my 32bit Windows 7 Ultimate OS???????

I would think these sticks are way too large for a laptop.
If you go to Crucial's website... you'll be able to get compatible RAM for your laptop.

Is it compatible with motherboard Biostar TA790GX 128M 5.x?

Unfortunately, no.
That motherboard calls for DDR2 memory. This is DDR3 memory. This memory is compatible with any motherboard that supports DDR2 DIMMs.

Question 6

These should work with the Asus Z97- Pro, right?  I don't see why they wouldn't, but I was going to buy G. Skill, and the only sticks compatible with that mobo were really slooooowww ones. No thanks to that noise. I wanna overclock and burn up the neighborhood, gaming wise. Thank you for your help.

I can't say if they are for sure compatable because they were not on the list of compat. memory for that board.  But, I will tell you this,  I have them and they are working great with my Asus Z97 Pro at 1866 and 2400

Question 8

Does the voltage matter if the latency is lower? I don't want to fry my board. I only have a 280w PSU. Looking for a RAM upgrade for music production.

The chipset supports 1866 but want to know if the voltage or cas latency will harm the computer in any way.

No. These ram has 1.5 volt it the ddr3 standard (below the max of 1.65v) so all ddr3 mobo has to support it. 1.35v is lowest ddr3 voltage i seen.
1.5v is the standard of all ddr3 ram today.

DDR3  ram only use 3-4w per stick.

Question 9

Does this product work with Lenovo M79 A78 Chipset?

I know the Chipset says 1866 UDIMM Supported but the system from Lenovo comes with 1600 UDIMM.

I was wondering if they are just using older RAM on a later Chipset or the MoBo doesn't allow for 1866?

It should work just fine. Even if the mobo really only supports 1600, this RAM will just run at the lower 1600 speed instead of it's full 1866 potential.
