1.Please ensure that your device has athunderbolt 3/4 / USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 or above ports that support "Power Delivery&DisplayPort Alt Mode" to support video output. HDMI function needs to confirm if the usb c port of your device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
You can check with ABIWAZY if you are not sure.
2. ONLY when your devices support 4K resolution, the video output will be 4K, please make sure to use HDMI 2.0 or higher cable.
(When it works with single display, If you want to output 4K@60Hz resolution, your laptop needs to support DP1.4 output).
3. Please plug in the laptop's power adapter to the USB-C Power Delivery port before connecting an external hard drive or multiple display purpose, to ensure enough power to work.
(Please use a PD charger with more than 65W and the usb c port of the source laptop is support PD protocol. )
4. As long as you use HDMI, VGA, and DP port, the built-in chip will work at full capacity by default, and the chip temperature will naturally rise at this time, which is normal. When the Docking is working, the heating temperature is acceptable within 150 °F.

For laptop on DP1.4 Extend Mode(The Screen of 4monitors and Laptop are different)
- A (Laptop) to B (monitor 1) + C (monitor 2) + D (monitor 3) + E(monitor 4) : PC + HDMI 1 + HDMI 2 + DP + VGA
Whether in mirror or extended mode, the max resolution of the 5 screens can be up to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. (For DP1.2, the resolution of 5 screens would be lower than 1920x1080p.)
Mirror & Non-Mirror Mode for Mac OS:
- Mirror Mode: The Screen of 3 monitors and Laptop are same: A (laptop) to A (monitor 1) + A (monitor 2) + A (monitor 3)
- Non-Mirror Mode(SST Mode): Three Monitors Screen are different from Laptop: A (laptop) to B (monitor 1) + B (monitor 2) + B (monitor 3)
×All MacBook only support Mirror Mode: AA,AAA,AAAA and Extend Mode : AB,ABB,ABBB. Not support A-B+C or A-B+C+D(which only support for windows laptop).
Notice:
- For Intel Graphics Laptop,only supports Three Display data stream outpouts at the same time.
- For Windows Laptop on DP1.2,due to its limited bandwidth,1 or 2 of the sceens resolution will be lower than 1080P when connect 2-3 monitors simultaneously,and the final resolution depend on different laptop configurations and connected monitors.
