I am guessing you need to use the same user name and password for multiple cameras to have all cameras show up on one list?

Yes correct and you can allow guests to access if desired.

Can you use more than one camera at a time?

Yes.

You can use unlimited amounts of cameras, but they will show up in your smartphone app screen as separate cameras.

You can custom name each camera for whichever location, (Front, Back, Room 1, Room 2, etc.)

So when you open the app, you will have a list of the different cameras and location names that you assign.

Simply touch on the desired camera name to view each location sepatately, one at a time.

The microphone works very well.

Once you open the screen, you have to push the microphone icon if audio is wanted.

You can also record while watching and take pictures which is a  nice feature.

The camera's are controlled through a web application, meaning you use your Internet browser.  You can view a live feed either through the web app or an app on your mobile device.  The instructions explain all of this thoroughly.  When it senses motion, it emails the pictures to you.

I'm using my belkin netcam and is it letting any other people to see what am seeing while turn my on when am away from home?

The only way other people are able to see the NetCam is if you give them access to the username and password to that camera.

Can I save the footage to view later? As in, can I access the footage later if I need it for proof? If so, how would I go about that?

Dlink has software that will record and save video. I believe it is IP View.

Can i use camera outside my front door where i have electrical receptacle up above?  Does it withstand cold as in winter?  How far does the camera transmit signal? Can i transmit audio TO a camera?  Thank You  Looks like a Gr8 deal.

Mine handles extreme heat and freezing with no problems. Keep out of the rain. I have mine on the front porch.

as long as you can type in the ip address of the camera you should be able to view this camera anywhere in the world.

Yes you can record to your pc.  You will need some surveillance software to do so, which may or may not come with the camera.  If there is no software with the camera you can find some on the web, some free and some to buy.

Question 10

I have 3 netcams hooked to my network. All three show that they are online with my network software. When I try to see them with my mobile app only one of the cameras is viewable the other 2 show offline.  I checked with my PC and I am able to view all three. How do I get the other 2 cameras to  back online with my mobile app?

That's interesting that it only works on your PC.  Have you try restarting the two that are offline?

Also try reconfiguring it and see if your mobile app picks it up.  I've done that twice because I had to reboot my router when I lost Internet connection and the cameras stopped responding.  It also got a new IP address.   If that doesn't work for you, chances are the cameras are defective or update to the latest firmware.  Hope that works.

Unfortunately Belkin doesn't allow these cameras to have static ip.  It would help since the Internet connection sucks and I have to reboot my router from time to time.

Also make sure you give them a unique name and that no other devices in the house have the same DHCP addresses as your cameras.
