Pros: Very fast. Fairly quiet for a card of this type. I bought it for FSX. It can play with a decent frame-rate if you knock down a few sliders. TF2 looks amazing with max settings. HL2, EP1, EP2 all look great and play super smooth at max settings. I do some water simulations that are very demanding and it does great.
Cons: The anti-static bag had 4, yes FOUR, previous stickers underneath the FIFTH one that was "new." I inspected the card closely and could find no obvious scratches, dust, or wear. The metal parts all looked shiny. However, I have to wonder why they gave me some beat up recycled anti-static bag for it. My guess is that this is a refurb card. Not a new one. The details were sketchy, but the best I could gather is that each time you need a new card, it will cost you $20.
Overall Review: Be SURE you register your card within 30 days of purchase (right when you get it really) or warranty goes to 1 year. The way these lifetime warranties often work is they sell you the warranty, not a new card. They give you a used or refurbed card, then "promise" to always be there to replace it if it dies on you. I have no way of knowing if this is really a new card or not. If not, returning it will cost 30% restocking fee to newegg.
