It’s a case fan  8/5/2020 8:31:43 AM

Pros: Quiet
Comes with adapter
Comes with screws
It works!

Cons: The wiring seems to be of the cheapest kind available. It honestly looks like they took some
Lamp cord or something and then used that.

I’m not an electrical engineer, but I do know as long as it can handle the current it’ll be fine.

Overall Review: Got these to replace my ancient dying Corsair case fans (easily over 5 years old) so I could pass down my old rig to my son.
They work just as well, seem to push just as much air, and they’re quiet. Will they last as long? Dunno.

Reviews are Over the top 7/23/2020 12:22:31 AM

Pros: Great fans, solid, works great with a Lamptron Fan Controller since these are only 3 pin. They come with adaptors and screws too, the wires are long too.

The other reviews are bad.. people talking like these fans are turbo jet engines... these are no crazier than my other fans.. they run at 1630 rpm at max speed dude. They are no louder either, and I can just turn down the speed with my fan controller nobs... peepz cray cray.

Cons: 3 pin not 4 pin, but you cannot beat the price!
The cords are silver not sleeved black for sexiness. Will have to sleeve these myself one day...probably not.

Overall Review: Heck yeah!

Exceptionally Reliable, High Quality Fans 9/17/2018 9:04:39 PM

Pros: -They move a lot of air.
-They are unbelievably reliable.
-They are pretty quiet. (Although this is meaningless to me as I use a headset at all times.)

Cons: -Absolutely none.

Overall Review: I just placed my first Newegg order in over 6 years. The last item(s) I bought from Newegg? These fans, all the way back in May of 2012. When I realized how long it had been since I ordered these things, I thought I should write a review based on how well they have served me in that time. I bought 4 of these to serve as the fans for the radiator in my water cooling loop. All 4 of them are lined up side-by-side pushing air through a long radiator with dust screens behind them (an absolute must-have based on my experience).

In over 6 years, my computer has essentially NEVER been turned off. I restart it once before going to bed (I use my PC as an alarm clock and for ASMR videos to help me sleep), and again when I wake up. The only time it turns off is if I am going to be leaving the house for a longer period of time. That means that all 4 of these fans have been running almost non-stop since May of 2012 (I am writing this in Sept of 2018). Not one of them has failed/slowed down in all of that time (legit knocking on wood right now). In that same amount of time, ALL THREE of the Silverstone fans that came pre-installed in my (excellent) Silverstone case have failed, two 180mm fans and the 120mm fan at the top.

As I mentioned in the "pros" section above, these fans are also pretty quiet, although with 7 total fans in my PC (plus the power supply fan) and the fact that I always wear a headset AND have a fan or A/C unit running in my room, the sound they make (or don't make) means nothing to me.

I also mentioned that these move a lot of air. Keep one thing in mind when you are looking for a case/radiator fan for your PC...the RPM of the fans (speed at which they turn) is TOTALLY MEANINGLESS in regards to how effective they will be. The number you want to be looking at is the CFM, as that will tell you how much air the fans will actually be moving. The higher the number, the better (especially if these are for a WC radiator), and when I bought these, they had the highest CFM number I could find. IDK if there are better fans out there now, but 4 of these blowing through a single, long radiator keeps 2 graphics cards and my CPU ice cold when gaming. I'm talking high-40's to low-50's degrees Celcius AT MOST on the graphics cards. The only time I have EVER seen a 60 degree reading was when all 4 dust screens were TOTALLY blocked with dust (my bad, only happened once).

All that writing (for fans LOL) should tell you what I think about the quality of these fans. Now that I'm here, I'm going to buy another one to replace that broken case fan that I've ignored for a few years now. Unless my research brings me across something better, I'm actually going to buy 4 or 5 of these to act as replacements JUST IN CASE. These things are over 6 years old and I ASSUME they can't last forever. With how well these have served me over that amount of time, I can't see myself buying anything else.

Great Fan for $$$ 4/13/2018 7:47:15 AM

Pros: Fairly quite for the amount of air it's pushing

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: Have 6 of these fans in pull configuration inside a closed mining case. Delta fans are too loud this is the next best thing

It works 12/31/2017 1:09:32 PM

Pros: Perfect for my servers. Very high CFM and keeps all my hard drives in every server around 28C.

Cons: Not really a con to me since I was expecting it to be loud but its in my server rack and that deadens the sound a little.

Close to 3 years running almost non-stop 24/7 1/6/2017 10:45:53 PM

Pros: So far so good. I have personally run two over 20K hours now, 1/24/14 to 1/6/17, and are still running like they did when I bought them. No noises or sticky/slow starts. This is in a computer that has had a 99% up time running 24/7 every single day with the fans mounted vertically.

Cons: I can't fault these fans anywhere, however, the molex adapters that came with them were pretty sad and ended up being tossed in my junk box.

Overall Review: I bought these fans to replace a couple sleeve bearing garbage fans. I wasn't sure what to expect with the price but they were specified as dual ball bearing so I figured I would give them a shot. I was looking for something that had decent airflow but not too much vibration since they would be cooling hard drives. They have done well to meet those requests.

One of the most impressive fans i have bought in a long time. 9/8/2016 3:09:32 PM

Pros: The speed, airflow, and db rating are all true. Not sure why anyone has a complaint for the sound, my old 80mm and 120mm Thermaltake manual speed control fans are way louder at full speed, and the 120mm at full speed it way louder the this fan at almost exact same cfm ratings. When i turn my TT 120mm fan all the way down and run these 5 Bgears at full speed, i can barely hear them and i am not joking or exaggerating they can only be heard 4 feet away and closer. At low speed they cant be heard.

Cons: Hmm only if it doesnt last atleast a year.
Something tells me it will last longer then that though.

Overall Review: I have owned many 120mm and 80mm fans that have lasted between 1-9 years. I say if i get 1-3 years out of a fan then i am doing good. If this fan makes it to 3 Years it will be the second best fan i have ever bought...... Crown holder is my Thermaltake 120mm manually adjustable fan at 10 years and still kicking hard like new.
