Yes. I believe if it's in a Brother box, it's official. We've had better results with OEM Brother than refills in our HL-4070.  That being said, we send spent cartridges back to Brother. I believe they refurbish the cartridges and refill with genuine Brother toner, so you'll get genuine new toner, but it may not be in an absolutely new cartridge.
