Is this keyboard backlit?

No the Storm Quickfire XT is not backlit.  Coolermaster has   keyboards that are backlit such as the quickfire ultimate and many others also sold here on Newegg.

Can anyone explain the difference between this and the QuickFire Pro?

The quickfire pro is made in China not Taiwan like this keyboard.  And the quickfire pro does not have a metal back plate inside such as the XT. This plate increases rigidity.  Also The XT is made to look more professional thats why it dosent have any branding on it or backlight.

So does this use Cherry MX Blues or Browns? The title says browns but the description paragraphs say blues.

It's Browns. I removed a key on mine to make sure and they are in fact brown switches.

Question 4

Someone mentioned the keyboard didn't work during POST. Is this true?

Yes, it is true. I think it's normal for some of the USB mechanical keyboards or some of the USB keyboards in general to not work during the POST (probably 'cause their drivers don't get loaded til windows starts). I have two Mechanical keyboards (RW and CM) and both of them don't work during POST. It's easy fix thou. All you have to do is during the POST or at the moment your pc starts firing up just unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. It will work during POST if you re-plug it in.
